Ilmakitarailtapäivä Oulun taidemuseolla
Tule viettämään iltapäivää kansainvälisen ilmakitarakulttuurin parissa Taidemuseon Satulaan! Avoimen iltapäivän aikana voit sukeltaa ilmakitarakulttuuriin ja sen taustalla olevaan yhteisöön sekä heittäytyä mukaan ilmiöön omalla tavallasi. Vierailijat voivat suunnitella oman ilmakitara-alter egonsa, pohtia sen tyyliä, liikkeitä ja tarinaa. Näemme myös maistiaisia Oulu: Tarinani -näyttelyyn rakennettavasta ilmakitara-areenasta.
Halukkaat voivat myös kokeilla ilmakitaran soittamista yhdessä kansainvälisten ilmakitaristien kanssa. Aiempaa kokemusta ei tarvita, sillä ilmakitarassa tärkeintä ei ole tekninen taito vaan oma ilmaisu, mielikuvitus ja yhdessä tekeminen.
Tapahtuma tarjoaa mahdollisuuden kurkistaa yhteen Oulun kansainvälisesti tunnetuimmista elävän kulttuuriperinnön ilmiöistä ja tulla hetkeksi osaksi kansainvälistä ilmakitarayhteisöä.
Join us for an afternoon celebrating international air guitar culture at Satula, Oulu Museum of Art! During this open event, you'll have the chance to explore the unique culture and community behind air guitar and become part of the experience in your own way. Visitors are invited to create their own air guitar alter ego by imagining its style, signature moves and backstory. You'll also get an exclusive preview of the Air Guitar Arena being created for the permanent exhibition Oulu: Stories.
If you wish, you can also step onto the stage and try playing air guitar together with internationally renowned air guitar performers. No previous experience is needed. In air guitar, self-expression, imagination and shared joy matter far more than technical skill.
This event offers a unique opportunity to discover one of Oulu's best-known elements of living cultural heritage and to become part of the international air guitar community, if only for an afternoon.
