Choir Day

This summer, Choir Day joins the Oulu August Festivals' Delta Life Grand Finale taking place around Pokkisenväylä from 27–29 August. The main event is accompanied by pre- and afterparties in Oulu's restaurants, cafés, and bars. Choir Day forms part of the pre-parties on Friday, 28 August.

This year features an impressive 28 choirs and vocal ensembles. Performances will take place across the city's cafés, restaurants, bars, and terraces from 15:30 to 21:00. The programme is coordinated by Oulu-based choir conductor Kristian Heberg.

The event is part of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme and its Cultural Climate Changeinitiative.

All events are free of charge. You can find the venues and performance schedule below.
