Pumpeligaala 2025

The winners of the 2025 Finnish Music Video Competition and the Nordic Music Video Competition will be awarded at the Pumpeligala.

The gala will be held on Saturday, 23 August at RioLive. As always, the evening’s programme will remain shrouded in secrecy until the night of the celebration.

The Pumpeli Gala is directed by Sisko Iljana, an Oulu-born artist, fashion designer, DJ, and musician.

In the Finnish competition, directors compete not only for honour but also for the main prize, the Golden Pumpeli, which includes a €3,001 gift card sponsored by Kinos Rentals.

Other awards include:

Teen Pumpeli for a promising young director, with a prize sponsored by Toasti
Best Post-Production, awarded with a Valco product prize
Lens Pumpeli for best cinematography, with equipment rental prizes sponsored by Valofirma and Kamerafirma
Four honourable mentions awarded by the jury
Audience Choice Award ("Kansanpumpeli") based on public voting
Age limit: 18+

Tickets will be available from 1st of August
