Maakinen Martinniemi: pole dancer Mandi Koskela

Double world champion pole dancer Mandi Koskela will perform twice at the Maakinen Martinniemi event: at 13:30 at Martinniemen Kerhola and at 18:45 at Rantametsä Arena. The performances are suitable for the whole family.

Mandi is also featured in the “Artists Arise in the Delta” documentary series, which is part of the Delta Life project of the Oulu August Festivals.

The main performers at the Maakinen Martinniemi village and multidisciplinary arts event are the shoreless horizon and smoked vendace. The program also includes music, a visual arts exhibition, an author’s walk, yoga, a nature-and-mindfulness walk, contemporary dance, and poetry.

The event is organized by the Maakinen artistic working group, the Martinniemi Village Association, and Martinniemen Kerhola. In addition, numerous artists, volunteers, businesses, and associations help make the event possible. The central idea behind the event is to keep the village vibrant and alive.
