Jazz preparty: Advanced Settings

Advanced Settings is a jazz trio founded in Oulu in 2019, which mainly plays tricky fusion jazz gems and re-arranged bebop and hard-bop classics. Over time, the program has included songs, e.g. From Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter and Jaco Pastorius.

The members of the band are all professional musicians from Oulu who studied in Helsinki, who are burning with the desire to bring the results of years of practice to the fore in their hometown. The long-term friendship of these skilled musicians is wonderfully conveyed in an interactive and good-natured expression of jazz music.
