F*ck Patriarchy
"If our experience of reality is a simulation constructed of symbols and signs then the best example of this simulation might be found in music videos and patriarchy.
For decades music videos have been using, reusing and remixing imagery that shape our perception of reality. For centuries men have been symbolised as the authority and this has created a reality where others are silenced. Music videos have by no means contributed to the patriarchal constructions in the music industry but they can also help to break the illusion and strife for inclusivity. This selection of music videos presents a different perspective on the patriarchal system and allows others to be equal. They show that everyone has the right to do what they want and to speak up for what they believe in. By watching these music videos I hope to give voice to a reality, to make you see their truth and F*CK PATRIARCHY!"
