Ola Lysgaard

Ola Lysgaard is a multi-faceted visual artist from Bergen Norway. His immersive and unique live visuals for club nights are mostly inspired by his passion for dancing and generating pictures that move with the mood and beat. He is an in demand VJ in the Norwegian clb scene and has done visuals for for example the famed Ekko festival as well as Ideophone nights in Østre Bergen. For the OMVF Saturday afterparty, he will create immersive visuals using multiple projectors, transporting the dancers into another dimension.

Portable

Portable has released music on legendary record labels such as Perlon, Ghostly International, and !K7. His sound combines deep house rhythms, strong vocal expression, and African roots and his music has been included on official mixes from for example DJ Koze and Sven Väth. His handcrafted and detailed music has been praised by international media outlets including Pitchfork, The Wire, and XLR8R and remixed by artists from Anthony Shakir to Shackleton.

Portable is known for his mesmerizing live performances, during which he sings over music that he plays on his analog equipment. Also producing music under the alias Bodycode, he tours some of the world’s most interesting electronic music festivals and regularly performs at clubs like Berghain.

In addition to music production, Portable—whose real name is Alan Abrahams—is also a video artist whose works are exhibited in art galleries. He creates the visuals for his own shows, making his performances fully immersive audiovisual experiences.

OJELMA

Originally from Oulu and now based in Helsinki, Ojelma has quickly earned a solid place in the city's nightlife. As the force behind the Gomorra club concept, their sound blends tribal grooves, sharp percussion and deep rhythms. Rooted in the rolling techno of the late 1990's and early 2000s, Ojelma's sets are never one-dimensional – they weave in elements of tech house, trance and electro, always with a hypnotic undercurrent that grips the floor from the first beat. Expect danger in the air and rhythm in control – a slow surrender to movement.

MALSSON

Local selector Malsson is a familiar face in the Oulu DJ scene. He's 1/3 of the Space Installation DJs crew, who recently brought two international dub techno big hitters, Ohm & Kvadrant to Oulu. You can hear his love for dub music whenever he plays, even when the name of the game is electronic music. Expect percussion and stabby chords.
