On Saturday, OMVF Afterparty at 45 Special brings a variety of performers to our ears!

ANDRES LÕO (EE)
Performer and producer, Estonian Andres Lõo is known from musical collaborations such as Faun Racket, Opium Flirt, Luarvik Luarvik and Holy Motors. Next to his own Phantom Platform label, Lõo has been releasing on Sex Tags Amfibia, Laton and Acido Records. Lõo is hosting his own Fantoomraadio show at IDA net radio.

TEINI-PÄÄ (FIN)
Teini-Pää has charmed audiences with their relatable lyrics and pop-melodies that combine with the aesthetics of American garage rock. Teini Pääs’ “wuss-punk”, as they describe their music, has found its way to Radio Helsinki’s album of the week and their song Heartbreaker was chosen as YleX:s power play song of the week. The band was also nominated as the critic’s choice in 2023’s Emma Gala, the biggest music gala in Finland. Their effortless charm and bubblegum melodies that sail between soft melancholy and uplifting vibes will win over new fans as well as enchant those already familiar with this great band.

SIRKKA MARIA
Sirkka Maria’s visuals draw their inspiration from the play between movement, shadows and nature, giving them a close-to-nature and minimalistic vibe. The video artist is active in the Cultish collective and her visual work reflects her background in music videos and videography.

VJ JANI PITKÄNEN
Jani Pitkänen is a VJ from Oulu who has been making visuals at gigs and clubs since 2014. Over the years, Pitkänen has mastered several different techniques, such as old-fashioned projector visuals as well as modern animation and glitch visuals. By combining several different techniques and styles, Pitkänen creates a versatile and eye-catching audiovisual experience!
