The opening concert for Elojazz 2023 is held in co-operation with Oulu Sinfonia!
In the first half of the celebratory concert, we will hear a selection of soulful music from Johanna Iivanainen in new arrangements by Teemu Takanen.
In the second half of the concert we hear the artistic director of Elojazz, Jukka Eskola. Eskola has been leading Elojazz for ten years and this flugelhorn concerto is dedicated to him.
