Elojazz 2023: Opening Concert - Emma Salokoski-Jarmo Saari & Olli Soikkeli-Cesar Garabini

Elojazz comes to Church of Tuira on Thursday 3th of August for a fantastic opening concert with two duo performances!

Singer Emma Salokoski and guitarist Jarmo Saari have been playing together for fifteen years and this year marked a new chapter in their collaboration as the duo released their first album together. The album has duo arrangements with a rich and balanced soundscape and an orchestral touch.

The internationally known Finnish gypsy jazz guitarist Olli Soikkeli and Italian-Brazilian master of choro Cesar Carabin formed their duo in 2018 and have been touring Europe and the United States ever since. Their unique gypsy meets choro -style of playing has been favoured by critics and crowds alike.
