Flow Circus brings Finnish and international performances from the very best in modern circus to the Oulu August Festival’s Extras.

Flow Circus is produced by Flow Productions, an Oulu-based production company that creates memorable multidisciplinary pieces on stage and in various locations. The artistic director, choreographer Pirjo Yli-Maunula leads the working groups creating the pieces targeting always to something unforgettable and emotionally engaging for the audience to enjoy. Flow Productions was nominated the Theatre of the Year in Finland in 2020.

Flow Productions is a long-standing partner of Oulu August Festival. Flow Productions is also known for its popular location-based pieces such as Hylky, The Secret Garden, Varjakka and Torni.
